    30 Nov: ARRIVE COLOMBO - ON TO KANDY
    • Welcome to Sri Lanka - Jewel of the Indian Ocean!
    Arrival transfer from airport in Colombo to hotel in Kandy,
    Breakfast at a Sri Lankan Restaurant Specially arranged for Dadabhai Travel Guest.
    On arrival in Colombo, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kandy.
    OPTIONAL: En route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a conservation and education
    centre and home to about 60 elephants which were found abandoned or orphaned in the
    wild.

    Lunch at a Local Restaurant

    Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site. The name
    "Kandy" conjures visions of splendor and magnificence.
    Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Kandy is the home to
    the Royal Palace and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth, which houses the holy relic of the
    tooth of the Buddha.
    The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city.

    01 DEC : KANDY - City tour of Kandy
     This morning, enjoy sightseeing tour of Kandy.
    OPTIONAL: Visit the Peradeniya Botanical Garden - First built as a pleasure garden by a
    Sinhala king and was later expanded by the British. Visit the Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts centre, a gem museum and a lapidary.
    Lunch at a Local Restaurant
    OPTIONAL: Thereafter, witness a cultural show if you want to know more about Sri Lankan
    Culture.

    Dinner and overnight at Earl’s Regent Hotel.

    02 DEC: KANDY - NUWARA ELIYA
    Transfer from hotel in Kandy to hotel in Nuwara Eliya, en route visit a Tea Plantation.
    Lunch at a Local Restaurant
    Today, proceed to Nuwara Eliya. On the way, visit a Tea Plantation - Sri Lanka, Tea and
    Tourism are words which cannot be separated. Take a tour to the cold and misty hills that
    take pride of an ultimate tea tour, covering lush green blankets of tea plantations. Or just
    step into a tea factory processing the prestigious brand of Ceylon Tea, to observe a rich
    tradition kept alive up to date.
    Dinner and overnight at Araliya Green Hills Hotel.


  • 03 DEC : NUWARA ELIYA – COLOMBO

    check-out of your hotel and transfer to Colombo via Kitulgala.
    Lunch at a Local Restaurant
    Kitulgala is the location where Oscar winning film 'Bridge on the River Kwai' was filmed. The
    beautiful tributary of the Kelani River, over which the bridge was built, is still attracting fans
    to the picturesque little town of Kitulgala.
    Upon arrival, enjoy shopping tour to Colombo. We suggest it is called textile hub and good
    amount of branded clothing can be purchased at very economical price .
    Dinner at an Indian Restaurant.
    By 2200hrs transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
